Rainforest HideawayAccommodation, Sculpture Trail
Sculpture TrailArt in the rain forest
Make sure you explore the sculpture trail during your stay at Rainforest Hideaway, about 900 metres of jungle trails where you will find ancient looking sculptures immersed in the world's oldest rain forest.
The vast majority of sculptures have been created by Rob Lapaer, but various visiting artists from many different countries have also made their contributions.
Take your time to explore the trails and sit down on the many seats provided to relax and take it all in.
The trails are also open to those not staying in our accommodation, for a small donation.
Anyone visiting the trail is expected to be quiet, and to stop kids from making noise or climbing on sculptures.
Meet Your HostA bit about the place and who you stay with
I was born in NSW, grew up mainly in South East Qld. I have lived in Brisbane city and for 7 years in Charleville in Queensland's outback. I also lived in Toowoomba for 20 years. I came to North Qld a few years ago and have recently taken over the management of the awesome Rainforest Hideaway. I enjoy meeting the many International tourists and locals alike. I would like to welcome you to my home in the beautiful rainforest at Cape Tribulation.
